If data light is not glowing then the problem may be in the configuration of the modem, device shall re-configured, call the manufacturer/distributor’s technical support team.

Optical power should be between -14db and -25db to get optimal speed. In case optical Power level is out of range than local network needs to be checked.

Plug an Ethernet cable from your ONU or ROUTER to your laptop/desktop and test the speed. If the speeds are satisfactory over the Ethernet cable, the issue may be with Wi-Fi.

The speeds we get over Wi-Fi depends on how close we are to the Wi-Fi router or the FTTH Wi-Fi enabled ONUs and various other factors including the hardware capabilities of the Wi-Fi router, interference from nearby Wi-Fi networks etc.

Mostly ONUs is available with dual band which are better than single band ONUs in interference. If issue is persisted same then we can change channels manually.

Computers LAN port should be Gigabit (GE Port) to support speed equal & above 100 Mbps. Generally, Old version and budgeted devices does not have GE port. Also ensure that software and device drivers on your PC support speed equal and above 100 Mbps.

The FTTH ONT/ONU port should support Gigabit Ethernet speeds. CAT 6 / CAT 6 E cables are preferred for higher speeds. If an old LAN cable is used, please ensure that it supports Gigabit Ethernet.

First Level of check: 1. Check OLT, login and verify if MAC is received, if yes, please lock complain to technical support @+91 11 4379 2000 and ensure that you get ticket generated. 2. If MAC is not received at OLT device, please check Optical Fiber Power between BTS (MUX) and OLT. If Power is low or high, rectify the OFC joints. In case Power is ok, please lock complain to technical support @ +91 11 4379 2000 and ensure that you get ticket generated.
